HUGH & GRACE
AMANDA LORENZA founder’s partner.
A business builder.
People. P&L. Decisions. Accountability.
The structure behind the next stage of growth.
At Hugh & Grace, I joined as the company’s first strategic hire and became the CEO’s only direct report, with direct P&L ownership and the leadership team reporting through me. I built the business infrastructure across financial management, people, technology, customer experience, supply chain, and company-wide execution.
My perspective comes from both sides of the table: leading through a PE-backed transformation at Avon, building global teams, and owning and operating a home-services franchise. I know what it means to build the model—and be accountable for making it work.

that we couldn’t do before?
That’s where my head is.
I’m a natural systems thinker. I see how the pieces connect, where things get stuck, and what could work better.
My track record shows I can figure things out. I’m already looking at what we can build next. New tools. Better approaches. What’s possible now.

Hugh & Grace — America’s fastest-growing private companiesGrowth needs more
than momentum.
Decisions bottleneck. Ownership blurs. Leaders wait for answers. I build the core systems that help a company move forward without every decision routing through the founder.
Financial discipline
P&L ownership, budgets, resource allocation, and KPI visibility that connect everyday decisions to business performance.
People & decision rights
Organizational structure, clear ownership, capable leaders, and decision authority at the right level.
Accountability & execution
Leadership scorecards, quarterly priorities, operating cadence, and EOS integration that turn strategy into action.
Technology & visibility
Connected systems, useful dashboards, workflow automation, and reliable data that support better decisions.
Customer & delivery infrastructure
Customer experience, supply chain, inventory, fulfillment, and field processes designed to hold up as demand grows.
Repeatable ways of working
SOPs, onboarding, training, and leadership development that move knowledge out of individual heads and into the business.
An established network.
A faster path forward.
I bring an extensive network across product innovation, design and formulation, packaging, manufacturing, third-party logistics (3PL), technology, and events, along with contacts at Nordstrom, QVC, FabFitFun, TikTok, and Amazon. That means I can help connect the right people, resources, and opportunities as the business grows.
Different businesses.
The same mandate: build.
Executive Vice President,
Head of Operations
Build the company behind the growth.
As the first strategic hire and CEO’s operating partner, I built the infrastructure that supported a 5x business growth trajectory. The work reached across P&L, organizational design, leadership, technology, supply chain, and customer experience.
I introduced EOS, leadership scorecards, quarterly priorities, investor-ready reporting, and clear decision authority. Connected commerce, inventory, and fulfillment systems gave the business a stronger foundation for execution.
Head of Learning & Development
2017–2020Turn capability into commercial performance.
Recruited into the PE-backed transformation of an approximately $500M business, I reported to the CEO and built the learning and development function across three markets, leading eight direct and 170 indirect reports.
My team introduced the technology, programs, and performance measures to modernize support for a 230,000-person independent sales organization—and connect learning investment to revenue.
Franchise Owner & Operator
President, Franchise Operations Advisory
Build with an owner’s accountability.
I own and operate a top 10% home-services franchise and separately serve as President, Franchise Operations Advisory for the broader franchise organization.
Working directly with the founder, I help build the infrastructure for scale: leadership structure, technology, field processes, onboarding, parts management, training, and accountability. It’s a practical perspective shaped by running a business myself.

Make complex operations repeatable.
At Wells Fargo, I built scalable operational learning systems supporting more than 200 facilitators in Auto Finance, working with Legal and Regulatory on sensitive requirements.
At Chase, as Assistant Vice President and Senior Training Officer, I helped launch domestic and global Auto Lending Finance operations that grew to $200M. That foundation shaped how I approach risk, process, and execution at scale.
